I think every other DAW I'm familiar with has this, and I think it's about time FL followed suit.
I can see the list of inputs and outputs on every mixer track, but I believed they're named according to whatever the interface specifies. i.e. Input 1 - Input 2 for stereo inputs one and two from an interface, or Digital 1 - Digital 2 for inputs one and two over an ADAT connection.
The problem is when these don't sync up.
i.e. Digital 3 - Digital 4 is the stereo input pair for inputs one and two over my ADAT connection, because (I believe) Digital 1 - Digital 2 is reserved for the SPDIF connection which is not in use.
In every other DAW I'm familiar with, I'd be able to rename Digital 3 - Digital 4 to whatever I want. Most commonly, I think most people opt to name their inputs after the devices plugged into those slots. Would be great if I could just open the drop down list in the mixer track and select AT2020 or Behringer 2600 or something.
Thanks,
Nathan.
