"Welcome to our Site" text removal - SOLVED

Hi all,

On the Blackbird template I am using, there is text reading "Welcome to our site!" on the home page that does not appear when editing the template at all, but does appear when I've published the website online.

The "Welcome to our site!" text does show when in the "Browse" tab, but not the "Edit" tab, and I haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of it.

Has this occurred to anyone else, and are there any suggestions on how to remove it?
