Selecting & moving all events/clips in project

Maybe I overlooked an obvious solution, but is there an easy way to select all events and clips in a large project so I can move them further down the timeline? So far I can only select the events that are currently on the screen, which makes it a pain to move everything forward or backwards on the timeline.
