Launchpad Pro MK1 connection problem

Hello,

I have a Launchpad Pro Mk1. I like it a lot. I use it frequently on my laptop with FL Studio. I want to try and connect it to my desktop PC. However, it keeps freezing.

For reference, here is the MIDI Settings panel for the laptop. It works perfectly fine.

However, I try to replicate those exact same settings on my desktop, and FL crashes. Specifically, when I try to change the port number for MIDIOUT2 (in the Output list), it stops responding and crashes. I can change all the other settings with no issues.

I'm able to connect other USB MIDI controllers to FL on my desktop just fine (e.g. Nektar Impact LX61).

Any advice would be appreciated. I have no idea why it's not working.
