Linking 2 Buttons to eachother in Patcher/Control Surface

So I am trying to make a Patcher preset, which has 2 Control Surfaces, each with a Mute button (as the patch deals with a lot of distortion, it can get very loud) and i want both Mute buttons to be linked to each other.
I could only figure out how to link one to the other, so that the button in Secondary updates its state when the button in Main is clicked, or vice versa, but not both.

(Screenshot is of a seperate Patcher map, which i made for this post, as my actual patch is very messy)

Is there some way to make these sort of "cross-dependant"? i.e. when i click the Button in Secondary, it also activates in Main, and if im working in Main and uncheck the button, it also deactivates in Secondary (and vice-versa)?

I did see this post about circular linking, however I'm not sure if this is quite what i need, and thought, that maybe what I'm trying to do is actually possible
