How to record with nektar aruba in fl daw

So I recently got an aura/Aruba and was so excited thinking that the daw I tegration with fl 21 would be so easy.. it’s not. As far as I can tell there is no midi script ( I tried impact series that didn’t work) and I am unable to record a pattern directly into fl studio say tho piano role whatever. I can record on the step sequencer within Aruba but it won’t let me record in fl… any help please?? Using mac 0S sonoma14.2.
