It would be nice that if I set these in the Plugin settings, that they appear on the channel rack, not as new devices but audio lanes with their own pre-fader level pot, and panning knobs, and the Mixer insert number.
A few Ideas, rather than accessing this in the device setup, it could be a right click context menu option to right click the device and select "create output --> output number" select one of the available, then a new lane without a rectangle or note lane appears with just the panning and prefader volume pots, and the insert number could be set independently of the plugin by setting the output offset behind the scenes. in my opinion it would make staging drums from a drum plugin, or a multitimbral synth plugin easier to manage.
