Sending Midi data, such as transport, song position, from external vst?
Been working with Reaktor 6 a lot recently and noticed a few modules that offer midi output other than note, velocity, gate, etc. Im not quite sure how this data is sent/ received, or if it is even possible for fl studio to receive that kind of data from a VST. I understand that you can create python scripts for midi, and it looks like you can affect the transport/ etc. Would the only solution be to assign each parameter in reaktor (transport - play, stop, position) to its own CC, then have a python script that takes the CC's and assigns them to the associated parameter/action? Also, are you able to use python scripts in Patcher, as a module/object? Thanks.

Yes, Reaktor standalone can commandeer FL Studi...
