Make natural tail ending

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is a dope plugin that does this. But sometimes when I an abrupt ending, I add a reverb to the master and automate this so that I create a tail ending but this doesn't always sounds as natural. How do you guys go about this? The "Leave remainder" option in the render menu is cool, but doesn't work in all situations especially when you are working with (chopped) audio files.
