Fastest way to double your pattern length

Hi, I read a bunch of old posts about this from 2015/2016 (link below).. posting to see if anything has changed -


Lets say I have a two bar pattern - I got some drums and percussion in there. I want to make it 4 bars and fill out all the stuff I have in bar 1-2 and extend it into bar 3-4.

Is the only way to place the pattern on a playlist twice then merge them into a new pattern?
