When I have SoundID Reference systemwide app (not the VST version) open, if I try to launch FL Studio 2024, it displays "The needed sample rate 48000Hz couldn't be set or is not supported by the ASIO driver". FL Studio will launch, but the audio device is closed. If I quit SoundID Reference app, FL will launch as normal.
My audio interface is Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th gen, ASIO device name "Focusrite USB ASIO".
However this is a new issue with FL 2024 RC1. In previous versions FL still shows the error message, but the audio device opens just fine and I can use it. With the new RC1 update, there's just no sound. I decided to report this here instead of the beta forum because it's sort of a general issue for FL.
Also, this is probably not the problem of SoundID Reference, as I have REAPER installed, using the same ASIO driver and the same sample rate, and everything goes just fine.
