Remote Control: increment & decrement relative mode

I'm nit sure how hard this would be to implement, but since there is already an increment mode, I would think it wouldn't be too hard to implement a few modes that mirror common relative mode functions. I'm really agonizing trying to figure out how to utilize the relative mode of my midi device with a midi controller script. I would understand if my problem was super niche, but using relative values with endless encoders is pretty common and it seems like this should be a universal option that is handled versus needing to configure specific midi devices with that option individually
