Banner in the top of screen not functioning

The projects can't be navigatednthrough with the whole top of the screen unresponsive. There's no way to record projects with no controls on the top of the screen keeping me from selecting specific parts of a track etc. any ideas? I've already troubleshooted contact support via email and created a ticket. This post is last resort
